I am a freelance writer, editor, and arts and crafts professional, doubling as a stay-at-home mom. I have had a personal blog for over three years, but found myself wanting to focus in on one of my greatest passions: cooking! Since striking out from my own family of origin, I have logged hours every day in the kitchen, and hours besides studying food and nutrition, poring over cookbooks, and following the trends in food. As a mother on a small budget, I thought it would helpful to share my insights and recipes for all of those who want to (or are told to) cook healthier meals but are intimidated by the cost and the time required by that. I hope to make cooking–and cooking well–accessible.
